This scholarship is awarded to remember Thais Baccus, Class of 1976. Thais was about to begin college in Tennessee when she lost her life in a tragic auto accident. Thais was an active member of the Pasadena High School community. During her senior year she was a Varsity Cheerleader and was a member of the Superintendants Advisory Board. While attending Pasadea High School, Thais earned the respect of students and faculty for her display of school spirit and pride.

This scholarship was established by her friends and family to honor a graduating senior whose academic achievement and demonstration of pride and spirit best represent the memory of Thais Baccus.
